Description
POWER & MAGIC: The Queer Witch Comics Anthology Volume 2 is the new installment of our flagship series, collecting 20 original comics about queer witches of color as they master their abilities, discover their traditions, and navigate love as beings with incredible power.
This 6″ x 9″ softcover edition of POWER & MAGIC VOLUME 2 is 216 pages, black and white, and features the work of 26 women of color and woman-aligned, non-binary people of color.
From her wands and flora, to her bonds of kinship, POWER & MAGIC VOLUME 2 explores what gives each witch her power, and how she’ll choose to use it.
The witch is an icon of power. She represents transcendence, healing, insight, defiance, feminine monstrosity, and a sacred relationship to the self, the community, and the universe. From the euphoria of holding the stars in your grasp, to the sacrifices we make to reach them, POWER & MAGIC explores what it means to be a person of power in all its complexity.
POWER & MAGIC is edited by Joamette Gil, a queer Afro-Cuban cartoonist and founder of P&M Press.
