How we collect information

Information is collected when you do any of the following:

  • Subscribe to receive blog posts via email
  • Subscribe to our mailing lists: Bits & Bobs (our general newsletter), #Decklust (monthly shop news).
  • Purchase something in the Little Red Tarot Shop
  • Sign up to one of our online courses

We use Convertkit, an email marketing service, to store email addresses and send emails. Click here to view Convertkit’s privacy policy.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Physical address (collected for shipping purposes if you purchase goods in our store)
  • Location (collected anonymously for EU VAT MOSS purposes if you purchase an online course)

We do not store your financial details. We use PayPal (a well-established payment processor with high security standards) to collect payments. Your financial information is encrypted and we do not come into contact with your credit card information, bank details or any other financial information.

What we do with the information we gather:

Via the Bits & Bobs list we send a regular (“weekly-ish”) newsletter with list of recent blog posts, brief shop news, links relevant to tarot, alternative spirituality and social justice and occasional announcements from Little Red Tarot.

When a new product (e.g. a course or event) is launching, we will also send information about this.

Via the #Decklust newsletter we send a monthly roundup of shop news, namely what products are new in store, new pre-orders, returning products and other pertinent information.

We hold member lists for each of our courses so as to be able to easily contact all participants when necessary. These are not mailing lists and newsletters are not sent – we only mail out when there is something important for members to know.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
