Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out how Little Red Tarot uses and protects any information that we/this website collects from you.

Little Red Tarot is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page from time to time to ensure that you are happy with any changes. This policy is effective from 25/5/18.

How we collect information

Information is collected when you do any of the following:

  • Purchase something in the Little Red Tarot Shop
  • Sign up to our newsletter
  • Sign up to one of our online courses

For our newsletter and various notifications (such as preorder updates), we use Convertkit, an email marketing service, to store email addresses and send emails. Click here to view Convertkit’s privacy policy. For shop orders and courses, information is stored within this website.

What we collect

We may collect the following information:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Physical address (collected for shipping and billing purposes if you purchase goods in our store)
  • Location (collected anonymously for EU VAT purposes if you purchase an online course)

We do not store your financial details. We use PayPal (a well-established payment processor with high security standards) to collect payments. Your financial information is encrypted and we do not come into contact with your credit card information, bank details or any other financial information.

What we do with the information we gather:

Via the #Decklust newsletter we send a monthly roundup of shop news, namely what products are new in store, new pre-orders, returning products and other pertinent information.

When a new product (e.g. a course or event) is launching, we will also send information about this.

We hold member lists for each of our courses so as to be able to easily contact all participants when necessary. These are not mailing lists and newsletters are not sent – we only mail out when there is something important for members to know.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we use services (Convertkit, WooCommerce, WordPress, PayPal) that we trust to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Our website and newsletters contain many links to other websites of interest. However, once you have used these links to leave our site/email, please note that we do not have any control over that other website. We cannot be responsible for the protection and privacy of any information which you provide whilst visiting such sites and such sites are not governed by this privacy statement.
