Ayshe-Mira Yashin

A tarot reading with the Earth Mother Magic Tarot
Ayshe-Mira Yashin is an illustrator, visual artist and tarot reader based in London, working primarily in the form of visual essays, publications and analogue prints to explore themes around matriarchal folklore, land-based rituals and storytelling using serendipity as a method of enquiry. She is the creator of the Earth Mother Magic Tarot, a handmade risograph-printed tarot deck designed for women and queer people. She prints her tarot decks at Slow + Dirty Press, the feminist community press at House of Annetta, where she is also part of the press team. She regularly provides readings with her deck within queer and feminist communities in London and Cyprus, and has an anti-hierarchical, collectivist and visually-led approach to tarot card interpretation.

Her tarot deck was featured at Tarot Cultures, a conference and exhibition organised by the British Association of Decadence Studies (BADS) and Goldsmiths, University of London at COLAB Tower (London, 2026). Her deck and other publications were also featured at the 10th Anniversary Grrrl Zine Fair at The Old Waterworks as part of the Grrrl Zine Artist Residency (Southend-on-Sea, 2025), and in the Publishing as Art Practice and Ecological Imagination exhibition at Celadon Center for Arts and Ecologies (Nicosia, 2026). In June 2026, she participated in the Endrosia Project Space residency with Lujain Tamer Mansour, culminating in the research-based exhibition Chasing “israeli” radio: re/encounters through cracks in the mountains (Nicosia, 2026). Her work has also been exhibited in New Heretics at House of Annetta (London, 2026), Burned House Horizon at Mimosa House (London, 2025), They Call Me Witch at Crypt Gallery (London, 2025) and in Manifestations: Views of the Otherworldly in Painting & Drawing at NiMac (Nicosia, 2024).
