In Mari’s own words:

This work is an extension of my tender, struggling, and hopeful heart. As a queer person of indigenous descent who has been decolonizing for as long as I can remember, all of my work is inseparable from the flame within me that believes in the potential of the individual and how our connection to the whole can change the world.
